Y13 A Horror of Great Darkness

A horror of great darkness: Gothic from the Brontes to Twilight (Image credit: A horror of great darkness: Gothic from the Brontes to Twilight)

There's an interesting event happening in Haworth, hosted by the Bronte Parsonage Museum, in which you might have some interest.

There are lectures on the Brontes and early gothic influences; landscape and identity in Wuthering Heights; gothic in popular culture; a creative writing workshop; and a tour of a graveyard.

It needs to be booked in advance, but if you've an interest in any of this, or are thinking of continuing to study English at Uni, I strongly suggest you take a look.

Cost is £17.50 and you need to book with them in advance.

Please let me know if there's interest A.S.A.P. and we'll get permissions to be out of school organised.

Mr. F.
